Zu diesen Ergebnissen kommt der AVU-Verpackungsmonitor 2026, der j\u00e4hrlich erscheint und Kennzahlen zu Verpackungen und Verpackungsrecycling mit einer repr\u00e4sentativen Verbraucherbefragung verbindet.<br>\u00a0<br>Durch den <strong>Einsatz von Recyclingrohstoffen<\/strong> anstelle von Prim\u00e4rrohstoffen lassen sich bei der Verpackungsherstellung <strong>erhebliche Mengen an Treibhausgasemissionen vermeiden<\/strong>. Besonders gro\u00df ist das Einsparpotenzial bei Aluminium (-85 Prozent) und Glas (-82 Prozent). Aber auch das Recycling von Eisenmetallen (-71 Prozent), Papier, Pappe und Karton (-70 Prozent) sowie Kunststoffen (-48 Prozent) tr\u00e4gt deutlich zur Verringerung von Treibhausgasemissionen bei.<br>\u00a0<br>\u201eVerpackungsrecycling ist gelebter Klimaschutz. Die Nutzung von Recyclingrohstoffen spart nicht nur wertvolle Ressourcen, sondern vermeidet auch erhebliche Treibhausgasemissionen. Das zeigt, welches Potenzial in funktionierenden Stoffkreisl\u00e4ufen steckt\u201c, betont der AVU-Vorsitzende Carl Dominik Klepper.<br>\u00a0<br>Gleichzeitig setzt sich der Trend zu <strong>sinkenden Verpackungsmengen<\/strong> fort. Seit 2021 ist das Verpackungsaufkommen im privaten Endverbrauch um vier Prozent zur\u00fcckgegangen. Im gewerblichen Bereich fiel der R\u00fcckgang mit 14 Prozent noch deutlicher aus. Neben konjunkturellen Entwicklungen tragen dazu unter anderem Verpackungsoptimierungen und der verst\u00e4rkte Einsatz von Mehrwegsystemen bei.<br>\u00a0<br>Die <strong>Bedeutung einer guten M\u00fclltrennung<\/strong> wird von den Verbraucherinnen und Verbrauchern immer st\u00e4rker anerkannt. Besonders deutlich zeigt sich dies bei den unter 35-J\u00e4hrigen: In der \u201eskeptischsten\u201c Altersgruppe stieg der Anteil derjenigen, die M\u00fclltrennung f\u00fcr wichtig oder sehr wichtig halten, innerhalb von zwei Jahren von 70 auf 82 Prozent. Insgesamt bewerten sogar 88 Prozent der Befragten M\u00fclltrennung als sehr wichtig oder eher wichtig.<br>\u00a0<br><strong>Nachhaltige Verpackungen<\/strong> beeinflussen zudem die <strong>Kaufentscheidungen <\/strong>vieler Menschen. Vier von zehn Befragten geben an, f\u00fcr Produkte mit nachhaltigeren Verpackungen einen h\u00f6heren Preis zahlen zu wollen. Bei den 18- bis 24-J\u00e4hrigen liegt dieser Anteil sogar bei rund 60 Prozent.<br>\u00a0<br>\u201eDie Menschen in Deutschland sind bereit, ihren Beitrag zur Kreislaufwirtschaft zu leisten. Die wachsende Bedeutung der M\u00fclltrennung und die hohe Wertsch\u00e4tzung nachhaltiger Verpackungen insbesondere bei j\u00fcngeren Verbraucherinnen und Verbrauchern sind ein starkes Signal f\u00fcr die Kreislaufwirtschaft\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Klepper.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n<style
