Das zeigt eine aktuelle Umfrage einer breiten Verb\u00e4ndeallianz unter Verpackungsherstellern und Abf\u00fcllern. Damit wird die Allianz Verpackung und Umwelt (AVU) in ihrer Kritik an der geplanten Steuer von 550 Euro pro Tonne Kunststoff best\u00e4tigt. Zugleich warnt die AVU ausdr\u00fccklich davor, das Vorhaben entgegen fr\u00fcheren Ank\u00fcndigungen im Schnellverfahren durchzusetzen. Eine Steuer mit derart weitreichenden wirtschaftlichen Folgen darf <strong>nicht durch die Hintert\u00fcr<\/strong> eingef\u00fchrt werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-NXnoy0pXA3\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\"><strong>Rund 70 Prozent der 306 Teilnehmenden rechnen mit sinkenden oder stark sinkenden Absatzmengen<\/strong>. \u201eDie Unternehmen bef\u00fcrchten zu Recht steigende Kosten, sinkende Abs\u00e4tze und Wettbewerbsnachteile gegen\u00fcber ausl\u00e4ndischen Anbietern. Besonders bitter ist, dass die Steuer in ihrer geplanten Form nicht einmal dem Umweltschutz dient, sondern lediglich der Stabilisierung des Bundeshaushalts\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Carl Dominik Klepper, Vorsitzender der AVU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-OLDeZQHSX5\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">Auch Investitionen und Produktionsstandorte geraten unter Druck: <strong>Rund 43 Prozent der befragten Unternehmen rechnen damit, ihre Investitionen zu reduzieren<\/strong>. Dar\u00fcber hinaus werden Standortschlie\u00dfungen und Produktionsverlagerungen als m\u00f6gliche Konsequenzen genannt. Damit drohen langfristige Sch\u00e4den f\u00fcr den Industriestandort Deutschland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-DR9GJMI3sd\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">Die AVU hatte gemeinsam mit \u00fcber 30 Wirtschaftsverb\u00e4nden in einer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avu-online.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Verbaendestellungnahme-zu-einer-Kunststoffverpackungssteuer-9.-Okt-2026.pdf\"><strong>Stellungnahme vom 9. Oktober 2026<\/strong><\/a> die Bundesregierung und den Deutschen Bundestag aufgefordert, von der Einf\u00fchrung der Steuer Abstand zu nehmen. Die Verb\u00e4nde kritisieren insbesondere die zus\u00e4tzlichen Belastungen f\u00fcr Unternehmen und private Haushalte sowie fehlende Anreize f\u00fcr die Kreislaufwirtschaft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-LT5ymR07r2\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">Dabei sieht das 2026 verabschiedete Verpackungsrecht-Durchf\u00fchrungsgesetz (VerpackDG) bereits gezielte finanzielle Anreize vor, die jedoch noch ausgestaltet werden m\u00fcssen. \u201eWer die Kreislaufwirtschaft voranbringen will, muss Investitionen erm\u00f6glichen, statt sie durch zus\u00e4tzliche Belastungen auszubremsen. Die Bundesregierung sollte deshalb auf die neue Steuer verzichten und gezielte finanzielle Anreize f\u00fcr nachhaltige Verpackungen schaffen\u201c, so Klepper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-9d8997ff07\" class=\"wp-block-nectar-blocks-text nectar-blocks-text\">Die Umfrage richtete sich an Unternehmen aus der Konsumg\u00fcterindustrie, dem Einzelhandel und der Verpackungsherstellung.<\/p>\n\n\n<style
